I believe that some of you submit your blog to many free directories but many of them worry about Google penalize their sites.
Well, I myself already join about 5 or more blog directories so I don't worry about it but my friend told me not to join blog directory more than 20 or your adsense gone from your blog.
He said that on one of his sites listed about 60 - 70 inbound links from free directories. His Google PR raise a little bit because of that. But the risk are greater and he receive the punishment from google a month later.
So my advice is don't to greedy and joining a lot of blog directory, just pick some blog directory that popular and you can enjoy your raising PR.
