L'Arc~en~Ciel 1993-2000 Album Collection

L'Arc~en~Ciel, literally French for "The Arc in the Sky" (rainbow), was officially formed in February of 1991 by the leader, Tetsu (bass). Hyde (from the band "Jersarems Rod") became the vocalist. Ken (guitar) joined a year later replacing Hiro and the drummer was "Pero" (also from "Jersarems Rod"). They released their first single "Flood of tears" in November of 1992. A year later, Pero left and was replaced by Sakura (from "Harem-Q") as their new drummer.

In 1993 they published first album called "Dune" before they became "major". It got first prize. And the same year, they did the first live concert tour.

But in 1997 Sakura in drums caused a disgraceful affair. And he was arrested because he had many hemps and used them. So they stopped all activities. And Sakura was confined at home for some time. Then Hyde, Tetsu, and Ken began to do activities again. And they published a new song at 17 October. This title was "Niji(Rainbow)" At this time, Yukihiro who was formerly in "Die in cries" joined it. With this song, they came back perfectly. And they held concert in Tokyo dome at December.

In 1998 after publish their second single on the new formation "Winter Fall", they released an album "Heart". This album also won the best Rock Album of the year. 3 months after they released the album, they publish 3 singles on the same day "Honey", "Kasou", and "Shinnshoku" which rose more than one million.

This band already disbanded in 2006. This was because kazumi left the band, mayu disappeared, so at the end of 2006 emiru and kamijo announced that the band would stop activities from now on.

The band was formed in 1994 with member were Kamijo (vocals), Mayu (guitar), Emiru (bass),and Kazumi (drums). Lareine is a visual kei band that has been around for more than a decade. They are mostly known for their romantic approach to music: most of their songs are connected to each other by a dramatic story-line and sometimes the songs are close to being too grotesque with their many flourishes, but Lareine still manages to find a suitable musical balance.
